Dr. Nanda Kambhatla

Dr. Nanda Kambhatla is the Senior Director and Head of the Adobe Research in India. He has more than three decades of research experience in the areas of Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. He and his team are working on exciting problems in Generative AI, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning. Earlier, he was the Vice President for Enterprise AI at Symphony AI where he was helping build the next generation of Applied AI and Machine Learning technology platforms. He has also worked at IBM Research for many years as an IBM Distinguished Engineer and an IBM Master Inventor. He has made significant contributions to Watson technology, products, and solutions with innovations in information extraction, conversational dialog technologies, and Machine Learning. He holds a B.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India, and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Oregon Graduate Institute of Science and Technology.  Dr. Kambhatla holds twelve U.S. patents and has authored more than 45 publications in books, journals, and conferences.
