Hari is a visionary leader who strongly believes in a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Hari holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, Gainesville, and comes with 25+ years of work experience and is highly skilled in software product development and deployment. Currently, he leads the Data Platform Department at Rakuten, India. He heads the Catalog platform and Data platform efforts. His department’s portfolio spans Product, Engineering, Data Sciences and Operations functions. Prior to this, from Jan 2017 to Dec 2019 he held a prominent position in the e-commerce engineering organization at Rakuten, India. In the past, Hari has held various illustrious positions with esteemed organizations like Jio, Oracle among others. He has 7 patents to his credit. He was also featured in Forbes India, May 2019 edition as one of the Top 100 Great People Managers in India. This title was conferred to him after evaluating 400+ Organizations and 5000+ Managers in India. Hari leverages upon a strong technical background and experience in building complex software products working with both Open source and closed source software stacks. He is highly skilled at developing Enterprise Software, Cloud computing, Catalog and Data platforms.
