Naren joined Rakuten India when it was formed in 2016 and currently has COO and SVP of Technology responsibilities. Apart from corporate functions, Naren also oversees deliverables of cloud engineering and operations, mobile network, engineering, and operations, FinTech, and cyber and information security departments. He wants to transform the company into one of the best companies to work for in India. With over 20 years of industry experience spanning across multiple technologies, Naren believes that technology for the well being of society and people in the future. As an entrepreneur, Naren co-founded Academic Tutorial Institute in the USA, Thellion Technologies, and Open Peak India and headed their Engineering and Product Division. In the past, Naren worked at Open Peak, Nokia Networks, Siemens, Lucent Technologies, and Robert Bosch India Ltd, where helped several challenging projects and departments. Narenhasan MBA in Entrepreneurship and Global Business Management from Florida Atlantic University and an Engineering Degree from Bangalore Institute of Technology.
