SVP, Central Platform Group of Engineering @Flipkart
Sandeep is responsible for all technology platforms for Flipkart. This includes the Data Platform,
the PaaS offering, the IaaS offerings and Kubernetes and Service Mesh. He is responsible for
building new data centers for Flipkart and steering Flipkart towards a Hybrid cloud strategy.
Sandeep is responsible for pushing Flipkart from Hadoop to cloud native technologies and has enabled Flipkart developers to develop cloud native applications. He is also responsible for BCP for Flipkart even in case of a DC failure.
Sandeep has 25 years of experience, and he holds master’s degree from Indian Institute of
Science.
