Dr Yu Hirate is a senior manager at Rakuten Institute of Technology Tokyo since 2018. He also serves as a board member of the Data Base Society of Japan. He received Dr Eng. degree in 2008 from Waseda University in Japan, After receiving Dr. degree, he worked as a research associate at Waseda University, and joined to Rakuten Institute of Technology in 2009. His current research interest is user behaviour data analysis and leading a research program related to user behaviour data analysis at Rakuten Institute of Technology.
